When I was a kid, I pursued all sorts of different creative passions. I spent quite some time taking oil painting classes. Unsurprisingly, I really enjoyed painting landscapes and, oddly enough, following impressionism style! When looking at verdant landscapes, my mom would often comment that she could imagine me painting the scene, agonizing over the million different shades of green.
What I love most about photographing flowers and plants is precisely this juxtaposition of different textures and colours. How can there be so many shades of green in one forest? Needless to say, put in me in a botanical garden, and you'll easily lose hours of your day watching me take macro shots of every single plant!
