Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is renown for its architecture and rich cultural life. In my books, it is an ideal city destination, as art, tree-lined streets, large parks, wonderful neighbourhoods and a foodie-culture make Buenos Aires a gem of a place to visit.
Patagonia
Patagonia is an enormous region in South America that spreads across southern Chile and Argentina, from the Pacific to the Atlantic ocean. It goes without saying that the landscape varies widely. The following images were taken in El Calafate, the gateway to the Perito Moreno glacier, and El Chaltén, the hiking capital of Argentina.
Mendoza
One of the great wine destinations of the world, Mendoza is blessed with a beautiful backdrop: the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. Visiting Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Western and Southern Hemispheres, makes for an easy (and very scenic) day trip.
